While working and travelling in Canada I came across an Unaware Narcissist, to her self of course, in every way possible. While living & working in Toronto, one day I was late for work, due to heartbreaking circumstances that I soon found out wore a regular occurrence.
I worked in the city which was about 40 mins away from where I lived by subway. Probably 1.5 by bus.
I arrived at the subway station to yet again another major delay. All routes backed up by at least 40 mins. It had happened a few times in the past but I really didn’t think too much of it, as at the time, I just assumed it was a problem on the tracks as they said.
The diversions started, taking buses to all different stations to board subways. The bus I was on was jam-packed.
As the driver got on someone asked whats going on now, her response was “someone jumped again” I could not believe what she said. So, I asked someone, did I just hear that right ? The response from the woman I asked was yeh like come on seriously its very sad but do it on your own time seriously (LAUGHS) & then say like how selfish now we are all late for work. (Very loudly might I add) I got so angry I couldn’t believe what she just said, what an inconsiderate person. Imagine, that person’s family could have been on the bus & was yet to find out & her voice is what they would remember saying such a horrible thing. I just looked at her & squeezed through people to get away from her. She went on about it for the whole bus journey for everyone to hear.
I’m not from Canada, however, in relation to the suicide on the tracks I was informed not too sure how true it is, that it happens all the time. If this is the case, mental health needs to be number 1 there just like everywhere else in this world. The saddest part for me was people were no longer fazed by it. It was just part of a day when if it happened.
Her self-worth was so bad that she tried to use a random suicide to get attention for herself on the bus, what a tragedy.
Narcissism, is such an awful disorder because they have no identity, whatsoever. I believe they just give up at some point or just mould to be mean because as a kid no matter what they did, they never met the need of their possible narcissistic caregivers who also had they same experience, it’s a vicious cycle.
The problem is for them they have no self-awareness which means they never think before they speak, act or do so they don’t care about anything other than themselves which is very sad but heartbreaking for the people around them who can see it.
♥♥ Have a lovely day ♥♥
